[Photo: LevelBlue]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dallas-based LevelBlue has announced a strategic partnership with Fortra, a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, to integrate Fortra\u2019s \u201cbest-in-class\u201d solutions with LevelBlue\u2019s \u201celite\u201d managed services and deliver a comprehensive security offering designed to combat the evolving threat landscape.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LevelBlue\u2014formerly known as AT&amp;T Cybersecurity before its <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/att-cybersecurity-spin%e2%80%91off-levelblue-discovers-squidloader-malware-loader\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spinout as a standalone business in 2024<\/a>\u2014is the world\u2019s largest pure-play provider of managed security services.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership with Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based Fortra marks \u201ca significant milestone\u201d in LevelBlue\u2019s mission to deliver world-class, proactive cybersecurity and secure what\u2019s next for its clients, the companies said\u2014while also representing advancement in Fortra\u2019s evolution as a channel-first company focused on empowering resellers, service providers, and distributors to deliver its solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Bob McCullen, chairman and CEO of LevelBlue, said that by adding Fortra\u2019s Alert Logic MDR services and its role as a leading technology partner, his company \u201cfurther cements its position as the most complete cybersecurity services partner for businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLevelBlue is redefining what it means to be a managed security provider, combining world-class human expertise with AI-powered, platform-led services, to give clients faster detection, smarter response, and long-lasting resilience against threats,\u201d McCullen added in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Fortra\u2019s leading offensive and defensive security solutions \u201cwill be instrumental in our mission to deliver true defense in depth for enterprises, governments, and partners globally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Complementary strengths<\/p>\n<p>As part of the long-term partnership, LevelBlue will acquire the managed services of Fortra\u2019s Alert Logic Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions. LevelBlue\u2019s expanded MDR platform\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/dallas-based-levelblue-to-acquire-san-diego-cybersecurity-firm-cybereason-and-gain-investors-via-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strengthened through recent acquisitions<\/a>\u2014will offer Alert Logic\u2019s client base access to a larger global footprint, broader threat telemetry, and speed up detection and response within complex environments, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>In return, Fortra will become one of LevelBlue\u2019s leading cybersecurity partners, making its best-in-class software and platforms available to LevelBlue\u2019s global client base.<\/p>\n<p>Fortra\u2019s technologies complement and reinforce LevelBlue\u2019s existing strengths in data security, brand protection, email security, and offensive security, adding depth, optionality, and specialization for LevelBlue clients. Together, LevelBlue and Fortra will provide clients with greater choice, broader coverage across the attack surface, and improved security outcomes, all delivered through LevelBlue\u2019s managed services model, the companies said.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Unmatched cybersecurity risk mitigation\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The partnership further reinforces LevelBlue\u2019s position as the global pure-play leader in MDR and managed cybersecurity services, while strenthening Fortra\u2019s role as a global leader in cybersecurity software and solutions.
