Founders Philly Freeze-Out and MNYK Chowder Crawl<\/strong><\/p>\n On Saturday, Jan. 31, the area\u2019s annual Founders Philly Freeze-Out and MNYK Chowder Crawl will bring ice, beer, and bold flavors to Main Street. The day starts with the Freeze Out Run by Philadelphia Runner and New Balance at 9:30 a.m., followed by the official Freeze Out from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and then the Chowder Crawl from noon to 4 p.m. The Freeze Out festival will be in full swing with a schedule of live carvings taking place around the neighborhood. The creations are made by Ice Sculpture Philly.<\/p>\n The occasion also brings a winter market (located in a heated tent), plus Chinese New Year Lion Dancing performances, a snowy igloo photo-op, an ice fishing giveaway game, food trucks, live music, and more, with plenty of places throughout the day to warm up. And for the Chowder Crawl ($18-$25) hungry participants will get one chowder sample from all participating restaurants, a wristband and a custom crawl map. The lineup will be full of zero-proof drink founders, beverage innovators, wellness entrepreneurs, and purpose-driven local businesses showcasing the best of the non-alcoholic and better-for-you options. The day will also feature celebrity guests and special appearances, including bestselling author Arlan Hamilton, founder of Mingle Mocktails Laura Taylor, plus professional skateboarder and MTV\u2019s \u2018Jackass\u2019 star Brandon Novak.<\/p>\n The event will be in full swing from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets ($60-$72) are available via Eventbrite.<\/p>\n 1516 N. 5th St., gemlifecollective.com<\/a><\/p>\n Unrivaled Celebrations at Stateside Live and Two Locals Brewing<\/strong><\/p>\n In celebration of the world\u2019s top WNBA stars taking the court in Philly for the Unrivaled tour this Friday, Jan. 30, fans can kick off the excitement at Stateside Live (1100 Pattison Ave.) with the Philly Is Unrivaled Pre-Game Party. The free event kicks off at 4:30 p.m. with live music, raffles, performances, giveaways, and interactive fan experiences.<\/p>\n For those cheering from afar, the Philly Watch Party, presented by Miller Lite, starts at 7:30 p.m., streaming all the action on big screens. And finally, locals can kick the celebrations off early with Philly is UNRIVALED presented by Tonya Pendleton and Stacey Pearl. Taking place Thursday, Jan. 29, at Two Locals Brewing (3675 Market St., Suite 100) at 6 p.m., the event will be a meet and greet for women\u2019s basketball lovers, WNBA fans and Unrivaled supporters. Venues around the area will offer three-course, prix-fixe dinners priced at $45 \u00a0or $60, and two-course lunches for $20 (note, some venues will participate in dinner only.) For an additional price, cocktail pairings can be added to complement menus with Hornitos Tequila and Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey as well.<\/p>\n In addition to the menus, diners participating in Center City District Restaurant Week can also find discounted parking<\/a> for $10 or less from 4:45 p.m. to 1 a.m. at select LAZ, BexPark by Brandywine, and Philadelphia Parking Authority locations. The competition has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, at 2 p.m. and will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia.<\/p>\n Tickets for the Jan. 31 performance are on sale for $12.15 for general admission on the lower level and $24.30 for the club level.
