The relationship is one that civil liberties advocates, such as the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org\/blog\/ice-immigrationos-palantir-ai-track-immigrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> American Immigration Council<\/a>, say blurs the line between \u201ctool provider\u201d and \u201cenforcement partner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fintel.io\/i\/new-york-state-common-retirement-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public filings show<\/a> that the New York State Common Retirement Fund reported holding approximately 1.08 million shares of Palantir, valued at about $180 million, as of March 31, 2025. the comptroller has taken an engagement-based approach rather than divestment, pressing Palantir to justify its contracts with ICE and to disclose more information about its political spending.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cComptroller DiNapoli categorically condemns ICE\u2019s ongoing terror campaign against immigrant communities,\u201d the spokesperson said, adding that the office is \u201cexploring every responsible avenue to ensure Palantir is not supporting ICE\u2019s abusive enforcement practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Goyle and Warshaw both argue that engagement falls was about 92 % funded as of March 31, 2025, according to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.osc.ny.gov\/press\/releases\/2026\/01\/dinapoli-independent-review-finds-state-pension-fund-operates-highest-ethical-and-professional\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">independent fiduciary review. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>DiNapoli, who has served as comptroller since 2007, recently secured endorsements from all five Democratic county chairs in New York City, along with dozens of party leaders statewide.\n<\/p>\n<p>In announcing those endorsements, DiNapoli emphasized his focus on affordability, audits, and pension stability, calling himself \u201cthe only
