In a press release on Tuesday, Paxton states that the clinic &#8220;routinely&#8221; sends these abortion drugs across state lines.<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/gettyimages-2203850264.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-v-0dea8073=\"\"\/> <\/p>\n<p data-v-0dea8073=\"\">Mifepristone and misoprostol (Photo illustration by Natalie Behring\/Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">According to the petition, Lynch is not licensed as a physician in Texas and operates a telemedicine service that advertises abortion pills by mail nationwide. The state specifically names Texas cities such as Beaumont, Houston, El Paso, Tomball and Fulshear.<\/p>\n<p> Potential penalties and evidence <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KRIV\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-2899190a=\"\">What they&#8217;re saying:<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">Each shipment constitutes a separate violation of the state\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/tlodocs\/87R\/billtext\/html\/HB01280I.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Human Life Protection Act<\/a>, the lawsuit claims, exposing the defendants to civil penalties of at least $100,000 per violation and a potential criminal penalty of anywhere from two years to life in prison.<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">The petition cites previous media interviews in which Lynch acknowledged shipping abortion drugs to Texas. One interview referenced in the filing was with the Austin American-Statesman on January 16, 2025, in which Lynch said she and her staff &#8220;mail a lot [of abortion drugs] to Texas.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p> <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/GETTY-Abortion-Room-040924.jpg\" alt=\"An exam room at a Planned Parenthood Reproductive Health Services Center (Photo by Michael B. Thomas\/Getty Images) <\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">The petition continues to ask the court for temporary and permanent injunctions barring Lynch and her organization from continuing operations in Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">&#8220;The day of reckoning for this radical out-of-state abortion drug trafficker is here,&#8221; Paxton said in a statement. &#8220;No one, regardless of where they live, will be freely allowed to aid in the murder of unborn children in Texas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> August 2025 cease-and-desist ignored <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KRIV\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-2899190a=\"\">The backstory:<\/p>\n<p data-v-2899190a=\"\">The January filing follows an earlier enforcement effort by Paxton\u2019s office.
