An Austin juice chain is making its Fort Worth debut: JuiceLand<\/a>, a super-healthy concept specializing in juices plus plant-based meals, is opening a location at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. #100 \u2014 in a small storefront that’s right next to the H-E-B<\/a> in Alliance.<\/p>\n

According to a release, the grand opening is July 11.<\/p>\n

Placing the shop near H-E-B was strategic: Since March, JuiceLand has opened<\/a> three locations both inside and next door to H-E-B stores in Austin.<\/p>\n

The company was founded in Austin by juice enthusiast Matt Shook and currently has 51 locations in Austin, Houston, and Dallas. This is the first in Fort Worth \u2014 joining six<\/a> in the DFW area: Uptown Dallas, Knox Village, Lovers & Inwood, Lakewood, Sylvan Thirty in West Dallas, and Addison. (Shook’s aunt grew up<\/a> in East Dallas.)<\/p>\n

They offer<\/a> raw juice pressed on site, as well as bottled cold-pressed juices, but their menu extends well beyond juices, with healthy staples like smoothies and acai bowls, as well as matcha lattes, sandwich wraps, salads, and pasta.<\/p>\n

Everything is vegan including their smoothies, which are made with nondairy almond milk such as the Wundershowzen with almondmilk, banana, spinach, hemp protein, and peanut butter; and the Wild Child with pineapple, dragon fruit, banana, mango, lime, and pea protein.<\/p>\n

There are green smoothies, protein smoothies, and smoothie bowls.<\/p>\n

There are iced lattes in flavors such as mocha and matcha; energy shots such as yerba mate; and wellness shots with buzzy ingredients like beet, ginger, garlic, and turmeric.<\/p>\n

Plant-based meals are creative such as the B\u00e1nh M\u00ec Wrap, featuring Fable savory shiitake “meat,” carrot, cucumber, and sambal shallot aioli in a whole wheat wrap; and the Frijole Roller Burrito, with potato and mushroom picadillo, black bean spread, vegan sour cream, and house-made habanero sauce. Prices are cheap, ranging from $5 to $9.<\/p>\n
