Experts strongly advise against waiting until the last minute. Enrollees can select their plan online, by phone, or in person, but they must do so before the deadline.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last day is January 31 at midnight. If you miss the deadline, you usually have to wait until the following year,\u201d Reynoso added. <\/p>\n
Covered California can also provide financial assistance to those who enroll. Representatives note that four out of five enrollees qualify for financial aid, which can significantly reduce the cost of health insurance. <\/p>\n
