{"id":55343,"date":"2025-07-10T23:25:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T23:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/55343\/"},"modified":"2025-07-10T23:25:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T23:25:09","slug":"magic-city-books-donating-portion-of-sales-to-texas-flood-relief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/55343\/","title":{"rendered":"Magic City Books donating portion of sales to Texas flood relief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TULSA, Okla. \u2014 Magic City Books took a feeling of helplessness and turned it into an avenue for support.<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re donating 25% of in-store and online sales for July 11-13 to the Texas flood relief community fund. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEspecially with the kids involved in this, it\u2019s just so heart breaking,&#8221; said president and founder Jeff Martin. &#8220;We all can imagine, we don\u2019t want to, but we can imagine ourselves being in such a horrible position and we would hope that everyone do their part to make things better, easier. You\u2019re not going to help someone\u2019s grief in a moment like this but if you can make their life a little simpler, where they don\u2019t have to make certain decisions or money\u2019s not an issue, or whatever we can do, supplies that come from these funds.
