Responsibly.\u201d is now available in Utah liquor stores.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">Jeppson\u2019s Mal\u00f6rt announced its entrance into the Beehive State on Thursday. Its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DUEp8cRDW8E\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DUEp8cRDW8E\/?img_index=1\">Instagram post<\/a>, featuring a bottle in Utah-centric locations \u2014 alongside a skier, then beneath Delicate Arch \u2014 was received with fanfare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">\u201c\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d\ud83d\ude0d dreams do come true,&#8221; one commenter wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">Another wrote, \u201cNow I\u2019m going to have to find another justification for all my trips to the Midwest :-).\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">The liquor was described by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/11\/15\/dining\/drinks\/malort.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/11\/15\/dining\/drinks\/malort.html\">The New York Times<\/a> as \u201ca little like sucking dandelion juice through a straw made of car tires,\u201d but \u201calso kind of good,\u201d albeit \u201c[i]ntensely bitter.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"caption-credit\">(Marissa Alper | The New York Times) Patrons take shots of Mal\u00f6rt at Honore Club in Brooklyn, Nov. 11, 2024. CH Distillery, which owns Mal\u00f6rt, distributed the stickers as part of a voter turnout campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">For most of its existence, Mal\u00f6rt was available only in Illinois, the Times reported, but it has built a following and in the last decade spread its distribution to most states.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">In Utah, the drink that\u2019s been \u201cweeding out the weak since 1933\u2033 is only available in 12-bottle cases through special order, according to Michelle Schmitt, with the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-raw\">To place a special order, visit the DABS website at <a href=\"https:\/\/abs.utah.gov\/shop-products\/special-orders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/abs.utah.gov\/shop-products\/special-orders\/\">abs.utah.gov\/shop-products\/special-order<\/a>s.
