On Thursday, the group announced that it will release its album, private music, on Aug. 22 via Reprise and Warner Records. Deftones also released the single \u201cmy mind Is a mountain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe artwork for Deftones\u2019 upcoming album features a bright green background with a white snake slithering over it. The group also shared the 11-song track list for Private Music, which includes songs such as \u201csouvenir,\u201d \u201ccut hands,\u201d \u201cmetal Dream,\u201d and \u201cdeparting the body.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe album serves as a sort of homecoming for group members\u00a0Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham,\u00a0and\u00a0Frank Delgado, who\u00a0co-produced the project with Nick Raskulinecz in Malibu and Joshua Tree, as well as Nashville. Raskulinecz worked on 2010\u2019s Diamond Eyes and 2012\u2019s Koi No Yokan with the group.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe group will celebrate the album with a show in Vancouver the night of Aug. 22, before <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/deftones-2025-tour-dates-tickets-1235104615\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stopping in cities <\/a>such as Minneapolis, Buffalo, Toronto, Cleveland, Baltimore, St. Louis, Denver, Louisville, and Sacramento for their own tour and festival stops. For their own shows, Deftones will bring Phantogram and Idles on the road.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tDeftones released their last album, Ohms, in September 2020.
