Philly\u2019s art and nightlife scenes are colliding in a bold, immersive way this winter as the Philly Sake Club hosts a sake tasting mixer inside the Philadelphia Erotic Gallery<\/strong>. Taking place February 11, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at 706 South Street, the one-night-only event invites guests to explore art, history, and curated sake \u201cin an unapologetically sex-positive setting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Presented by Philly Sake Club<\/strong> and led by founder Jacob Trinh<\/strong>, the mixer is designed as a relaxed, social tasting experience that encourages conversation, curiosity, and connection. Guests will have the opportunity to sample a selection of sake curated by the Philly Sake Club while mingling throughout the gallery and museum spaces.<\/p>\n

Admission includes complimentary sake tastings, full access to the Philadelphia Erotic Gallery and Sex Museum, and a take-home PEG goodie bag. Attendees will also have the chance to meet featured artist Lexi Wellech-Papillon, whose work reflects the gallery\u2019s commitment to highlighting diverse, sex-positive, and LGBTQ+ voices in Philadelphia\u2019s art community.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor art lovers and sake drinkers, this event explores sex-positive LGBTQ+ artwork across Philadelphia,\u201d said Trinh. \u201cThe museum offers insight into the city\u2019s past, including a large map showing where brothels once operated throughout Philly. Enjoying that history while sipping sake with new friends makes for a truly unique experience.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Erotic Gallery and Sex Museum describes its mission as shining a light on the history of sex, gender, and erotica in the city, celebrating what it calls \u201cthe hot, sexy, and sometimes strange side of Philly and beyond.\u201d This collaboration adds a cultural and educational layer to PEG\u2019s programming while giving sake lovers a new way to experience the space.<\/p>\n
