\n\tSaturday Night Live<\/a>\u2018s Weekend Update<\/a> took on the new Melania Trump documentary and Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem\u2019s baseless claims about the Alex Pretti shooting. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe $75 million documentary about the first lady, which has been widely panned<\/a> as a glorified infomercial, is titled simply, Melania. But, as co-anchor Colin Jost<\/a> joked, a more fitting title would be \u201cWicked: For Real\u201c\u2014a play on last year\u2019s fantasy film co-starring Cynthia Erivo as the Wicked Witch of the West.<\/p>\n

\n\tMichael Che<\/a> then noted that the documentary, which some of its crew members want nothing to do with<\/a>, was directed by Rush Hour\u2018s Brett Ratner. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat explains this scene,\u201d he said, rolling a clip of Detective James Carter (Chris Tucker) badgering Jackie Chan\u2019s character\u2014with Trump\u2019s face superimposed on him\u2014about whether she speaks any English.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tChe then turned to the fatal shooting<\/a> last week in Minneapolis of ICU nurse Alex Pretti by federal immigration agents.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHomeland Security\u2019s initial review of the Alex Pretti shooting does not say that he attacked officers, which contradicts Kristi Noem\u2019s claims,\u201d Che said. Noem had insisted that<\/a> officers were justifed in shooting Pretti ten times in the back while unarmed, claiming, \u201cThis looks like a situation where an individual arrived at the scene to inflict maximum damage on individuals and to kill law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tChe joked about the DHS\u2019s finding: \u201cNone of that really matters to Kristi Noem. She\u2019ll open fire even if you\u2019re a good boy.\u201d <\/p>\n
