Not only are the players running through routes while the passers do their thing, but the players have been doing off-field activities together as well. Although the Giants weren’t terribly concerned about it, they wanted to be cautious. Therefore, he was held out from OTAs and mandatory minicamp. Barring any setbacks from here on out, Nabers is expected to be back on the field for training camp.<\/p>\n Read More: Key NY Giants Make Important Offseason Move<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n It’s no secret that Nabers will be key to Wilson’s success in New York. Although Wilson reportedly did a great job growing chemistry with multiple receivers, especially the minicamp standout Jalin Hyatt, Nabers will undoubtedly be the top target when training camp and the regular season rolls around.<\/p>\n Even with inconsistency under center last season, Nabers was able to thrive within the Giants’ offense. Landing in New York as the sixth-overall pick after three seasons at LSU, Nabers had to play with a handful of quarterbacks throughout his rookie season.<\/p>\n Throughout 15 games, Nabers caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards. He scored seven touchdowns.<\/p>\n Wilson recently publicly claimed that Nabers was a primary reason why he signed with the Giants after his lone season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
