{"id":565148,"date":"2026-02-04T07:25:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T07:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/565148\/"},"modified":"2026-02-04T07:25:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-04T07:25:11","slug":"gps-collared-wolf-crosses-into-nevada-from-california-california-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/565148\/","title":{"rendered":"GPS-collared wolf crosses into Nevada from California | California News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NDOW says it has learned that a GPS-collared wolf has crossed into Nevada from California.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On Monday morning, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife notified NDOW about the wolf&#8217;s location in the high-elevation Sierras, north of Lake Tahoe between Mount Rose and Mount Houghton &#8211; away from developed areas or communities.<\/p>\n<p>NDOW tells 2 News Nevada that the wolf is currently moving in the north part of the Carson Range.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Historically, wolves detected in Nevada have been dispersing individuals from neighboring states.
