\n\tEXCLUSIVE: <\/strong>The View<\/a> has lined up a series of guest co-hosts when Alyssa Farah Griffin<\/a> goes on maternity leave.<\/p>\n

\n\tElisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman will return to the show, with other guest co-hosts including Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood and Whitney Cummings. Savannah Chrisley<\/a> will be the first guest co-host, starting on February 17, executive producer Brian Teta told Deadline.<\/p>\n

\n\tTeta said the selections were \u201call about a different point of view at the table,\u201d as well as people \u201cwho are good at this job or who have the potential to be good at this job.\u201d He also said that the choices of different perspectives were not just about politics but the range of topic areas that the show covers.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThey are big shoes to fill,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tChrisley spoke at the 2024 Republican National Convention<\/a>, alleging that her parents, reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, were \u201cpersecuted\u201d by the justice system when they were convicted in 2022 on fraud and tax evasion charges. President Donald Trump pardoned her parents<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

\n\tGriffin is expected to have her final show before her leave on February 13. The show threw her a baby shower earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\n\tTeta said that last week marked the second most watched week of The View in five years, after the week of the 2024 presidential election. Last week\u2019s guests included Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, but also a jam-packed and ever-changing news cycle. \u201cThe show is really having a moment,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
