This marks the highest loan volume of any district in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Across the broader South Central area, which includes Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, SBA loan approvals are up 10% over the same period last year. In total, the region has facilitated $2.8 billion in capital to small businesses through 4,446 SBA-backed loans, helping create or sustain nearly 49,000 jobs.<\/p>\n<p>The SBA\u2019s loan programs place a federal guarantee on private lending, making capital more accessible to entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Dallas-Fort Worth District\u2019s performance reflects a strong demand for small business financing and job creation in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Other top-performing Texas districts include Houston, with $983 million in approved loans, and San Antonio, with $742 million.
