Chris Noth shaded former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker yet again amid their ongoing rift. <\/p>\n
The former Mr. Big told the Daily Mail <\/a>on Wednesday that he \u201cwas very lucky\u201d his iconic character was killed off at the beginning of the \u201cSex and the City\u201d sequel series, \u201cAnd Just Like That,\u201d in December 2021.<\/p>\n While attending the Blue Jacket Fashion Show in New York City, the actor also said with a chuckle that he felt \u201cvery good\u201d about not being featured more prominently in the series, which was widely criticized by fans<\/a> before coming to an end<\/a> last year. <\/p>\n One week after Noth, 71, was written out of the series, he faced allegations of sexual assault<\/a>, which he has vehemently denied<\/a>.<\/p>\n Chris Noth said he felt \u201clucky\u201d to have been written out of \u201cAnd Just Like That\u201d in the first episode. Getty Images<\/p>\n Parker and co-stars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis shared a joint statement<\/a> at the time, saying, \u201cWe are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth. We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.\u201d<\/p>\n When the outlet asked Noth if he had anything to say about the falling out, he said \u201cno\u201d and added that \u201cit\u2019s over.\u201d <\/p>\n The actor was also seen spending time with Mario Cantone, who played Anthony Marentino in both series. Cantone told the outlet that there\u2019s \u201cno tension\u201d with Noth, and that it was \u201cgreat to see him\u201d at the fashion show.<\/p>\n The actor said of the feud in part, \u201cAll I know is, I know my experience. I loved seeing him.\u201d<\/p>\n Noth and Parker starred together in \u201cSex and the City.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n In 2021, Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis issued a statement supporting a pair of women who accused Noth of sexual assault.
