Now, before you read any further, we too found it hard to believe that there would be aerated acid deployed at a Hollywood industry party. Well after our Bungalow 8 and Beatrice Inn days when synthetic substances were prized, we\u2019d certainly attended plenty of sophisticated bashes where other guests gobbled more of-the-moment, sustainably sourced varietals \u2014 including one gathering in New York where a venerable art collector passed out weed gummies as stars from\u00a0Paul McCartney<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Chris Martin<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Dakota Johnson<\/strong>\u00a0circulated. (We have no idea if they partook! Though Macca made an amusing comment about it as he exited.)\u00a0<\/p>\n We\u2019d also previously written in Page Six how magic mushrooms became\u00a0de rigueur\u00a0at preppy parents\u2019 parties from Brooklyn Heights to Manhattan\u2019s Upper East Side, and how everyone who\u2019s anyone was microdosing them. One top author had told us at a fancy hedge-funder-filled gala in Connecticut that he was microdosing at all times as he popped a gummy at our table.<\/p>\n But LSD? That seemed like the next frontier, even in a city like L.A. where Ketamine-assisted therapy has become almost commonplace.\u00a0<\/p>\n Sources say the stuff is called \u201cUnicorn Spray,\u201d and it goes for $200 a bottle. It\u2019s all the rage with industry insiders and mindful Millennial parents. (Said one partaker at a recent party, \u201cIt\u2019s not like,\u201d wild waving hand motion, \u201cit\u2019s like,\u201d one little tiny boom hand motion.)<\/p>\n Said another source, perhaps more eloquently, \u201cIt\u2019s a way to microdose LSD. It comes in a spray form, and most people are doing one to two sprays and going about their daily life. It\u2019s a way to move through the day and go about daily tasks like picking up the kids,\u201d said the source. \u201cIt\u2019s a kind of a mood vibe thing \u2014 it\u2019s not intended to trip balls,\u201d cautioned the source. \u201cSimilarly to how microdosing mushrooms became a thing \u2014 this is the next level, I suppose, to that. Some people are using it daily, and some in place of a happy hour wine situation.\u201d<\/p>\n As a wellness remedy, \u201cThe moms with the hormonal everything are looking to [LSD spray] to level up in a way, mood-wise and improve mood and energy.\u201d Sign us up!<\/p>\n At another recent dinner at a private West Hollywood club, one top industry exec told us that MDMA and psychedelic \u2018shroom gummies (together in one pop as a microdose) are a thing, too, and that in-the-know parents in Hancock Park and Larchmont Village are sourcing them locally.<\/p>\n![\"Cary](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/photo-herbert-dorfman-corbis-via-120456950.jpg\")
