Here\u2019s who will perform in Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"&quot;byline&quot;\">by David Moreno, Fort Worth Report <br \/>February 5, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Anytime Fort Worth band Meach Pango performs on stage, group members focus on making sure the audience head bangs to their pop rock sound before getting in their feelings.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lead singer Alex Mackenzie said the goal is to make listeners cry a little bit and then \u201cdance away the tears.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meach Pango is bringing their energy to Fort Worth\u2019s Near Southside when they take center stage at the return of the Jambaloo Music Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Built for the Tilt\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mVog3hw1dks?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>The festival runs Feb. 7-15 and features nearly 30 concerts at 15 North Texas music venues. Although the shows are free, concertgoers are <a href=\"https:\/\/jambaloo.live\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">required to RSVP<\/a> for the days they plan to attend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s festival kicks off with the Jambaloo Symposium at Tulips FTW on Saturday. The discussion explores the challenges facing independent venues and strategies to strengthen North Texas\u2019 music ecosystem. Concerts will electrify venue stages in the following days.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the complete musical lineup for Jambaloo in Fort Worth:<\/p>\n<p>The Cicada, 1002 S. Click <a href=\"https:\/\/jambaloo.live\/line-ups\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a> to see the full lineup.<\/p>\n<p>The free week of music was founded by Mullen &amp; Mullen Music Project to <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/2025\/01\/29\/new-festival-will-bring-a-week-of-free-live-music-to-fort-worth-north-texas-cities\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">uplift North Texas\u2019 music scene<\/a> and support small businesses across the industry. The inaugural event drew <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthreport.org\/2025\/12\/20\/free-music-festival-returns-february-with-concerts-in-fort-worth-north-texas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">more than 6,000 attendees<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers reached out to Meach Pango about performing this year, and the band didn\u2019t hesitate to jump onboard, Mackenzie said. The festival\u2019s investment in spotlighting both local and national artists offers relief for musicians struggling to secure paid gigs, he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really awesome to see them put this much effort into providing something for audiences to come for free while we get paid,\u201d Mackenzie said. \u201cThey are encouraging younger artists and smaller acts to showcase their music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David Moreno is the arts and culture reporter for the Fort Worth Report.
