Following a two-day closure due to water damage from a leak, the Los Angeles Superior Court\u2019s Spring Street Courthouse is expected to reopen Friday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Court appreciates the patience of those who were impacted by the temporary suspension of Superior Court operations at the Spring Street Courthouse earlier this week,\u201d Presiding Judge Sergio C. Tapia II said in a statement. \u201cThe safety of court users, court staff and judicial officers remains a top priority and the Court will continue to work diligently to ensure equal access to justice through the fair, timely and effective resolution of all cases.\u201d<\/p>\n
The courthouse at 312 N. Spring St. was closed on Wednesday and Thursday, prompting delays, rescheduling or relocation of most proceedings at the facility.<\/p>\n
