vs. New Mexico, Aug. 30<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Michigan -34.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 51.5<\/p>\n

Michigan will open the season as massive favorites over a New Mexico team that has a new head coach in Jason Eck<\/a><\/strong> and a roster that ranks 135th nationally in ESPN.com\u2019s returning production metric. <\/p>\n

at Oklahoma, Sept. 6<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Oklahoma -2.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 50.5<\/p>\n

Vegas oddsmakers can\u2019t decide who will be better between Michigan and Oklahoma, with this matchup essentially being a pick \u2019em game if it were on a neutral field. Oklahoma\u2019s home field advantage gives the Sooners the position as a slight favorite.<\/p>\n

The Sooners went to Washington State to grab a new offensive coordinator, Ben Arbuckle<\/a><\/strong>, and quarterback, John Mateer<\/a><\/strong>, to help revive an offense that scored only 24 points per game a season ago. There\u2019s a lot of pressure on head coach Brent Venables<\/a><\/strong> heading into his fourth season, and he\u2019ll call defensive plays this fall.<\/p>\n

at Nebraska, Sept. 20<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Michigan -3.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 45.5<\/p>\n

Nebraska made a bowl game last season for the first time since 2016, beating Boston College in the Pinstripe, 20-15. The Cornhuskers have an emerging talent at quarterback in Dylan Raiola<\/a><\/strong>, who was the full-time starter as a true freshman. Head coach Matt Rhule<\/a><\/strong> and Co. went hard after offensive line and wide receiver talent in the transfer portal, and we\u2019ll see if it pays off.<\/p>\n

vs. Washington, Oct. 18<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Michigan -10.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 47.5<\/p>\n

Washington got its revenge for the national championship game with a 24-17 win in Seattle in 2024, and now the Wolverines will look to avenge that one at home. The Huskies are a sleeper team in the Big Ten, with tremendous talent at the skill positions on offense and a solid coaching staff all around.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, Michigan\u2019s second-to-last home game before Ohio State will come October 18 against the Huskies.<\/p>\n

at Michigan State, Oct. 25<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Michigan -8.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 46.5<\/p>\n

Michigan State could be dangerous, with quarterback Aidan Chiles<\/a><\/strong> possessing potential and wide receiver Nick Marsh<\/a><\/strong> adding a dynamic element to the passing game. The overall talent on the roster is clearly a cut or two below Michigan\u2019s, though.<\/p>\n

Michigan has won three-straight meetings against Michigan State, including 49-0 the last time the two teams squared off in East Lansing (2023). The Wolverines won the national championship and the Spartans finished 3-9 that year, though. Last year\u2019s game at The Big House was decided by only seven points, and this one is projected to be competitive, too.<\/p>\n

vs. Ohio State, Nov. 29<\/p>\n

Betting line<\/strong>: Ohio State -5.5
Over\/under<\/strong>: 47.5<\/p>\n

Michigan is gunning for its first five-game win streak against the Buckeyes since the 1920s, and the Wolverines get the arch rival at home.<\/p>\n

Ohio State won the national championship last season \u2014\u00a0despite finishing fourth in the Big Ten and losing to U-M on its home field \u2014\u00a0and underwent a lot of change in the offseason.
