{"id":57172,"date":"2025-07-11T15:25:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T15:25:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/57172\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T15:25:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T15:25:09","slug":"keith-lee-and-coffee-shop-create-matcha-sip-for-flood-relief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/57172\/","title":{"rendered":"Keith Lee and coffee shop create matcha sip for flood relief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The devastating floods that <a href=\"https:\/\/houston.culturemap.com\/news\/city-life\/texas-flood-more-rain-risk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">swept<\/a> across Central Texas on July 4 are bringing out all kinds of charitable endeavors \u2014 and that includes a limited-edition beverage from Texas-based TikTok food influencer Keith Lee.<\/p>\n<p>Lee, a social media sensation whose online food <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/keith-lee-viral-tik-tok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">reviews<\/a> have benefited hundreds of small restaurants, is partnering with La La Land Kind Cafe on a special drink: Called the La La Land X Keith Lee Latte, it&#8217;s a matcha drink in which 100 percent of the proceeds will go towards Kerr County flood relief.<\/p>\n<p>La La Land is the coffee chain founded in Dallas in 2019 with a mission to provide opportunities for fostering youth and individuals in need. It has three locations in Houston, along with 10 across Dallas-Fort Worth and six in Southern California.<\/p>\n<p>The new Keith Lee Latte will consist of double ceremonial matcha, with secret syrup, matcha cloud, a whole fresh strawberry, flaky salt, and matcha powder. (See Lee enjoy the latte in the video below.)<\/p>\n<p>Matcha is the Japanese green tea powder that has experienced a surge in popularity, appearing in everything from drinks like the matcha latte to desserts like matcha mousse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"shortcode-media shortcode-media-rebelmouse-image\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"cf053\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"a9db2747aa653db93fa1d7e7388a059a\" data-rm-shortcode-name=\"rebelmouse-image\" class=\"rm-shortcode rm-lazyloadable-image \" lazy-loadable=\"true\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%202000%201500'%3E%3C\/svg%3E\" data-runner-src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/keith-lee-latte.jpg\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1500\" alt=\"Keith Lee Latte\"\/>\u00a0Keith Lee Latte is a matcha drink.Instagram\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lee, who <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/real-estate\/keith-lee-tiktok-dallas-resident\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">relocated<\/a> to Dallas in 2024, has been on a <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/keith-lee-tiktok-matcha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">matcha kick<\/a> ever since he tried it in Chicago, which he says &#8220;led me down a rabbit hole,&#8221; and it has become his trademark drink. In May, he <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/keith-lee-tiktok-matcha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">visited<\/a> seven cafes across DFW in search of the perfect matcha in town, and that included La La Land, where he ordered a matcha with almond milk.<\/p>\n<p>He also has a charitable history, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworth.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/keith-lee-tik-tok-taste-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">special visit<\/a> he made to Taste Project in Fort Worth to donate $4,000 to support the nonprofit&#8217;s mission to fight food insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>The Keith Lee Latte will be available at all La La Land cafes beginning Friday July 11, for a limited time only.
