{"id":57373,"date":"2025-07-11T17:11:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T17:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/57373\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T17:11:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T17:11:09","slug":"i-kicked-my-mentally-ill-kid-out-of-my-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/57373\/","title":{"rendered":"I kicked my mentally ill kid out of my house"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>She gave her kiddo the old heave-ho \u2014 and social media is clapping in support.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Megan Morris shamelessly announced, \u201cI kicked my mentally ill nine-year-old out of my house because she was too hard to handle,\u201d to over 24.6 million TikTok viewers, who, upon learning about the troubled tot\u2019s violent outbursts, are passing \u201czero judgement\u201d on the overwhelmed Oklahoma mama.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Megan Morris shamelessly revealed that she kicked her nine-year-old out of the house due to the kid\u2019s bad behavior.  fizkes \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf she was in the backseat, and she was irritated or you said something to her that she didn\u2019t like, or sometimes it was just random,\u201d Morris began, \u201cshe would get behind my seat and cover my eyes while I\u2019m driving down the road.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The beleaguered blond confessed that she\u2019d often have to \u201cfight\u201d the tween \u2014 whom she has not publicly named \u2014 off of her while blindly operating the vehicle, recalling nightmarish incidents as \u201csuper dangerous.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, temporarily impairing her mother and threatening her own life, as well as the lives of others, wasn\u2019t the worst of the little rascal\u2019s savage stunts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But the child isn\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/08\/29\/lifestyle\/is-gen-alpha-disrespectful-or-just-misunderstood-why-confident-kids-are-confronting-authority-with-a-strong-voice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">just a Gen Alpha brat<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Instead, she\u2019s in the alarming number of youngsters suffering from severe mental health challenges.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Researchers have found that an increasingly high number of tots, tweens and teens with mental health conditions were recently in desperate  need of therapy, counseling and medication. pikselstock \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p>The CDC\u2019s National Center for Health Statistics recently revealed that a whopping 15% of America\u2019s children aged five to 17\u00a0received specialized care for mental health conditions in 2021.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A staggering 11.3% of children under age 11 underwent treatment, such as therapy and counseling or prescription medication, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/18\/shocking-cdc-statistics-reveal-extent-of-mental-health-crisis-among-children-in-us\/?itm_source=parsely-api%3Fitm_campaign%3Dparsely_recommended_widget-3&amp;itmMedium=site_widget&amp;itmSource=parsely_recommended_widget&amp;itm_content=widget_item-3&amp;jw_start=%7Bseek_to_second_number%7D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">per the data<\/a>. Even more shocking, 18.9% of adolescents, ages 12 to 17, with mental health issues were in need of similar aid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Morris\u2019 daughter, now age 12, has, too, sought help for her seemingly unmanageable mischievousness.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Morris\u2019 daughter is among the rising number of children plagued by mental health issues. Victoria Antre \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the years, she\u2019s been diagnosed with DMDD (Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder), Generalized Anxiety Disorder, ADHD, and more,\u201d the mom lamented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/a-mothers-plea-healing-for-her-daughter?attribution_id=sl:d1a40ca8-a863-4d81-8f25-8a66a5312654&amp;lang=en_US&amp;ts=1749311266&amp;utm_campaign=man_sharesheet_dash&amp;utm_content=amp13_c-amp14_c-amp15_t3&amp;utm_medium=customer&amp;utm_source=copy_link&amp;v=amp14_c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in a GoFundMe plea<\/a>. The crowdsourcing campaign is seeking $6,000 toward in-depth brain scans for her daughter.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s been in therapy most of her life and has tried countless medications \u2014 literally over 100,\u201d Morris moaned in the post, \u201cbut nothing has brought lasting relief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter one of her rages, she often collapses in my arms, sobbing and begging for help,\u201d she added. \u201cShe tells me she doesn\u2019t understand why she acts this way \u2014 and I believe her. She\u2019s not a bad kid. She\u2019s a hurting kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But physically hurting other kids, including her brothers and sisters, was one of the main reasons Morris felt forced to give the girl the boot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Morris revealed that her nine-year-old had a tendency to violently attack her younger siblings and family members.
