SAN ANTONIO – A suspect is behind bars, accused of sexually assaulting a four-year-old girl he was tasked with babysitting.<\/p>\n
19-year-old Michael Macario Moreno III was arrested on Thursday, June 19, on an outstanding warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child, and was additionally charged with resisting arrest.<\/p>\n
According to a criminal affidavit, on Sept. 29, 2023, Moreno was tasked with babysitting a four-year-old girl, a relative of his at-the-time girlfriend.<\/p>\n
After being babysat by Moreno, the child made an outcry to her mother, who immidietly rushed her child to the hospital, and filed a police report.<\/p>\n
A search warrant was obtained for the suspect’s DNA swabs after a SANE kit was submitted to the Bexar County Crime Lab.<\/p>\n
Investigators say that the analysis revealed very strong support for a DNA match between the suspect’s DNA and DNA found in the kit.<\/p>\n
