Five of Ms Wilga\u2019s friends were waiting for her outside Royal Perth Hospital just before 7pm.<\/p>\n
Fellow traveller Miranda was excited to reunite with her close friend and had been in touch with Ms Wilga\u2019s parents \u2014 who \u201ccouldn\u2019t believe\u201d their daughter had been found.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just heard from the news that she was found and alive, which had everyone excited,\u201d Miranda said.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was actually in contact with her family every day almost and they\u2019re very happy.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey almost couldn\u2019t believe it, but yeah, they were just overwhelmed with happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gioia Bezemer described Ms Wilga as a \u201csurf chick\u201d who loves adventure.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe is very outgoing, she likes sports, she\u2019s a surf chick,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe likes adventure . . . she\u2019s definitely very friendly as well, she talks a lot, she\u2019s really nice, a very nice person.\u201d<\/p>\n
The last time Ms Bezemer heard from Ms Wilga was on June 28 via text message.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe texted me at seven in the morning that she had to give me a book back,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd then she never replied back.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was the point that we started to worry.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were wondering where she had gone, why she had taken that route.\u201d Jules Briand was eager to catch up with his friend and share a meal outside of hospital.<\/p>\n
