PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — One step at a time, Alyssa Bowser rediscovered her passion for dance and helped others realize it’s never too late to find theirs.<\/p>\n

An avid dancer as a child, Bowser left her hobby behind to pursue an education in business.<\/p>\n

Years later, she felt something was missing. She returned to dance as an instructor for children.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until a community cookout that Bowser was approached with the idea of teaching adults.<\/p>\n

She put together an impromptu summer class for a handful of adults who had either loved to dance in the past, or simply never had the chance.<\/p>\n

After hosting that class for a couple years, her students encouraged her to do something bigger.<\/p>\n

Thus, she found a space in Philadelphia’s Roxborough neighborhood to open her own studio called, ‘Second Chance Dance.’<\/a><\/p>\n
