They found 40-year-old James Brown, Jr. shot at the scene, and he later died at a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">On Friday, police linked 35-year-old Corey Jackson to the fatal shooting and said he was already in Dallas County jail on unrelated charges, including assault on a family or household member following a previous conviction for a similar crime.
