While trading away Micah Parsons<\/a> saw the Cowboys<\/a> lose an elite pass rusher, at least one player in the building thinks the move worked out well for Dallas.<\/p>\n

Star wide receiver CeeDee <\/a>Lamb said the move worked out well for both the Cowboys and Parsons on a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was pretty upset when Micah left \u2014 I\u2019m not afraid to say it again \u2014 but I think it was beneficial for both parties,” Lamb said. \u201cMicah got the money that he deserved. And, at the end of the day, we ended up with Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark when we couldn\u2019t stop the run so that was pretty good.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor us to elevate as far as defensive-wise, I think we\u2019re missing a pass rusher to get to the QB. I felt like that\u2019s what we were missing, but overall as a team and as a unit we could be better to hold up our end of the bargain,\u201d he added. \u201cBut Micah is my man, he knows that. That\u2019s my brother and brotherly love is never lost.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cowboys\u2019 defense<\/a> put up some of the worst numbers in franchise history following Parsons\u2019 departure, dragging down what was a stellar offensive effort from Lamb and company. Dallas acted quickly on that front, parting ways with defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus<\/a> and hiring Christian Parker to replace him.<\/p>\n

While it remains to be seen what more changes could happen this offseason, Lamb asked fans to stay with the team as they pursue a return to the Super Bowl for the first time in decades.<\/p>\n

\u201cHave faith, man. Just have faith. I know it\u2019s a lot to ask for and it\u2019s been a long time,\u201d Lamb said. \u201cBelieve in us. We\u2019re continuing to work. I know as long as I\u2019m here I\u2019m going to continue to work my tail off to make sure that we\u2019re hoisting up the trophy. And we\u2019re going to do it very fashionably\u201d<\/p>\n
