The wealthiest town in Upstate New York in newly released census data was Forestburgh in Sullivan County.<\/p>\n

The town had a median family income of more than $180,000 a year in estimates covering a five-year period from 2020 to 2024. The numbers come from estimates the Census Bureau released in January.<\/p>\n

The top 25 wealthiest towns and cities in Upstate New York all had median family incomes of at least $147,000 a year, according to the new data.<\/p>\n

After Forestburgh, Pittsford in Monroe County was No. 2 at more than $179,000 a year and Niskayuna in Schenectady County was No. 3 at over $171,000.<\/p>\n

One Onondaga County town was in the top 25. Skaneateles had a median family income of more than $157,000 a year, according to the census data.<\/p>\n

One city appeared on the list. Saratoga Springs ranked No. 21 with a median family income of over $150,000.<\/p>\n
