{"id":580570,"date":"2026-02-10T19:54:13","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T19:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/580570\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T19:54:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T19:54:13","slug":"properties-christies-international-real-estate-names-jim-barcelona-vp-of-brokerage-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/580570\/","title":{"rendered":"@properties Christie\u2019s International Real Estate names Jim Barcelona VP of brokerage services\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridaagentmagazine.com\/2026\/01\/09\/compass-international-holdings-merger\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">@properties<\/a> Christie\u2019s International Real Estate\u00a0promoted Jim Barcelona to executive vice president of brokerage services following the recent retirement of <a href=\"https:\/\/chicagoagentmagazine.com\/2024\/11\/04\/managing-broker-of-the-year-suburbs-thomas-downing-at-properties\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Downing<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona previously served as vice president of brokerage services of the firm\u2019s Naperville, St. Charles, Downers\u00a0Grove\u00a0and Elmhurst offices.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, veteran agent Mike Long is taking over Barcelona\u2019s position at the Downers Grove and Naperville locations, while\u00a0Vice\u00a0President of Agent Development Kevin Rynes is becoming\u00a0vice president of brokerage services at the\u00a0Lake Forest\u00a0and Elmhurst offices.\u00a0Barcelona will remain vice president of brokerage services\u00a0at\u00a0St. Charles for the time being.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona, who was named\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chicagoagentmagazine.com\/2022\/11\/07\/managing-broker-of-the-year-suburbs-jim-barcelona\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Managing Broker of the Year (Suburbs)<\/a>\u00a0by Chicago Agent magazine in 2022, joined @properties in 2018.\u00a0In his\u00a0new\u00a0role,\u00a0he\u00a0will lead @properties\u2019 managing brokers with a focus on coaching,\u00a0mentorship\u00a0and business\u00a0development. He will also\u00a0work\u00a0with\u00a0Chief\u00a0Brokerage\u00a0Officer Amy Corr on company-wide growth initiatives.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A Realtor for over 25 years,\u00a0Long\u00a0joined @properties in 2020 as the brokerage opened its Naperville office. During his career, he has served on the board of the Mainstreet REALTORS\u00ae and several committees with the Illinois Association of REALTORS\u00ae.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As\u00a0vice president of\u00a0agent\u00a0development for the\u00a0last\u00a0two years, Rynes helped\u00a0develop\u00a0many of the\u00a0company\u2019s coaching and training initiatives.
