\n\tWe\u2019re a getting a peek at the characters in Prime Video<\/a>\u2018s upcoming live-action series Spider-Noir<\/a>, starring Nicolas Cage<\/a> in his first leading television role. The streamer has dropped several first-look photos of Cage\u2019s Ben Reilly (aka The Spider), Robbie Robertson, played by Lamorne Norris, Cat Hardy, portrayed by Li Jun Li and Janet, played by Karen Rodriguez. You can see the photos above and below.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpider-Noir\u00a0is a live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir.\u00a0It\u00a0tells the story of Ben Reilly (Cage), a seasoned, down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life, following a deeply personal tragedy, as the city\u2019s one and only superhero.<\/p>\n

\n\tBack in the day, Cage\u2019s Ben Reilly was the superhero known as \u201cThe Spider\u201d. After a personal tragedy, he stepped away from his heroic alter ego. Only an extraordinary case could call this down-on-his-luck private investigator to drop the ordinary man act and put his mask back on.<\/p>\n

\n\tMorris\u2019 Robbie Robertson is a dedicated journalist trying to make it in 1930s New York with the odds stacked against him. He is willing to do whatever is necessary for his career as well as his best friend, Ben.<\/p>\n

\n\tLi\u2019s Cat Hardy is the star attraction at the premiere nightclub in New York. It may seem like she is always looking out for herself, but the truth is more complex than meets the eye.<\/p>\n

\n\tRodriguez\u2019s Janet Smart is the scrappy, and loyal secretary to Ben Reilly. She wants to help her boss and his small business become successful, and she has zero problem speaking truth to power.<\/p>\n

\n\tCast also Abraham Popoola (Atlas, Slow Horses), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire,\u00a0Day of The Fight) and Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin, Harry Potter). Guest star cast includes Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpider-Noir\u00a0is produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+<\/a> and Prime Video. Emmy-winning director Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve) directed and executive produced the first two episodes. Oren Uziel (The Lost City, 22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (Marvel\u2019s\u00a0The Punisher, Shantaram) serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. <\/p>\n

\n\tUziel and Lightfoot developed the series with the Oscar-winning team behind\u00a0Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Lord and Miller executive produce for their shingle Lord Miller along with Aditya Sood and Dan Shear. Amy Pascal also serves as an executive producer via Pascal Pictures.\u00a0Cage and\u00a0Pavlina Hatoupis\u00a0also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n

\n\tSpider-Noir will premiere worldwide this spring. It will debut domestically on MGM+\u2019s linear broadcast channel, then globally on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories thereafter.\u00a0<\/p>\n
