{"id":580818,"date":"2026-02-10T22:23:10","date_gmt":"2026-02-10T22:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/580818\/"},"modified":"2026-02-10T22:23:10","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T22:23:10","slug":"phoenix-sky-harbor-announces-new-option-to-speed-up-bag-check","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/580818\/","title":{"rendered":"Phoenix Sky Harbor announces new option to speed up bag check"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\"><b>PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A new service at Phoenix Sky Harbor is cutting out the ticket counter wait, letting some travelers check bags in seconds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Airport officials announced this week that &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/at-the-airport\/services\/early-bag-check\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Early Bag Check<\/a>&#8221; launches on Wednesday, which allows people to check in luggage before arriving at the terminal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Travelers can check their bags in at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/ground-transportation\/rental-cars\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rental Car Center<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/parking\/parking-rates-directions\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">East Economy Parking Lot<\/a> before boarding the Sky Train.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Flyers on Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, or United may check in up to two bags per person at no extra cost. However, special equipment must be checked at the airline ticket counters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Sky Harbor said the counters will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., including holidays.
