{"id":58137,"date":"2025-07-11T23:47:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-11T23:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/58137\/"},"modified":"2025-07-11T23:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-11T23:47:09","slug":"aws-reportedly-set-to-launch-ai-agent-marketplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/58137\/","title":{"rendered":"AWS Reportedly Set to Launch AI Agent Marketplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon Web Services<\/a> (AWS) will reportedly launch an artificial intelligence (AI) agent marketplace on July 15 during its <a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/events\/summits\/new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AWS Summit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One of the company\u2019s partners in the marketplace will be\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anthropic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthropic<\/a>, TechCrunch\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/07\/10\/aws-is-launching-an-ai-agent-marketplace-next-week-with-anthropic-as-a-partner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>\u00a0Thursday (July 10), citing unnamed sources.<\/p>\n<p>Reached by PYMNTS, an AWS spokesperson declined to comment on the report.<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic did not immediately reply to PYMNTS\u2019 request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The marketplace will aim to facilitate the distribution of AI agents by allowing startups like Anthropic to offer them directly to AWS customers, and by enabling enterprises to shop for AI agents in a single location, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Its launch will follow the introduction of other marketplaces for AI agents, such as the\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/cloud.google.com\/marketplace?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google Cloud Marketplace<\/a>\u2019s AI Agent Marketplace,\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Microsoft<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/devblogs.microsoft.com\/microsoft365dev\/introducing-the-agent-store-build-publish-and-discover-agents-in-microsoft-365-copilot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agent Store<\/a>,\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.salesforce.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Salesforce<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/agentexchange.salesforce.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AgentExchange<\/a> and the\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/store.servicenow.com\/store\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ServiceNow Store<\/a>, per the report.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon CEO\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/andy-jassy-8b1615\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andy Jassy<\/a> said during a May 1 earnings call that AWS already commands a \u201cmultibillion-dollar annual revenue run rate\u201d in generative AI services and that it has positioned itself as \u201cthe infrastructure for\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/amazon\/2025\/customer-first-agentic-ai-next-amazon-lays-out-its-2025-road-map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agentic AI<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In March, it was reported that AWS formed a new group focused on\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/artificial-intelligence-2\/2025\/report-aws-ceo-says-agentic-ai-could-be-companys-next-multibillion-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">agentic AI<\/a> and that AWS CEO\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mattgarman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matt Garman<\/a> said the technology could be \u201cthe next multibillion business for AWS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have the opportunity to help our customers innovate even faster and unlock more possibilities, and I firmly believe that AI agents are core to this next wave of innovation,\u201d Garman said at the time in an internal email, according\u00a0to a Reuters\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/amazons-aws-forms-group-focused-202225665.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When Microsoft unveiled its Agent Store in May, it said this centralized marketplace would serve both developers and non-technical users and enable these customers to shop for\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pymnts.com\/artificial-intelligence-2\/2025\/ai-models-and-tools-microsoft-launches-agent-store-marketplace\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI agents<\/a> tailored for specific tasks.<\/p>\n<p>The marketplace allows shoppers to browse, install and try agents from Microsoft, its partners and its customers.
