To pass the time and mark the days, we running through 100 Days of Cowboys. So sit back and enjoy some Cowboys history while we countdown to football.<\/p>\n<p id=\"OdIOiJ\"><strong>Today &#8211; number 74.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bob Breunig<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"w0tsmh\"><strong>Born:<\/strong> July 4, 1953. Inglewood, California<br \/><strong>Position: <\/strong>Linebacker<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloggingtheboys.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Dallas Cowboys<\/strong><\/a>: 1975-1984<br \/><strong>Awards<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbnation.com\/super-bowl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Super Bowl<\/a> champion- XII<br \/>All-Pro- 1980<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbnation.com\/nfl-pro-bowl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pro Bowl<\/a>&#8211; 1979, 1980, 1982<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\"   alt=\"Dallas Cowboys v Washington Redskins\" loading=\"lazy\" data-upload-width=\"2430\" width=\"2430\" height=\"3600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/840654292.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>        Photo by Focus on Sport\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p id=\"otoHzW\">Bob Breunig played linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys from 1975 to 1984 after being drafted in the third round out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houseofsparky.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arizona State<\/a>. Taking over for Hall of Famer Lee Roy Jordan, Breunig became the heart of the Cowboys\u2019 defense throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for his intelligence, tackling ability, and leadership, he was a three-time Pro Bowler and team captain.
