{"id":58338,"date":"2025-07-12T01:30:19","date_gmt":"2025-07-12T01:30:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/58338\/"},"modified":"2025-07-12T01:30:19","modified_gmt":"2025-07-12T01:30:19","slug":"sapd-san-antonio-man-charged-with-making-threat-against-president-trump","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/58338\/","title":{"rendered":"SAPD: San Antonio man charged with making threat against President Trump"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t<img width=\"640\" height=\"400\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/San-Antonio-Police-Department-640x400.png\" class=\"object-cover wp-post-image\" alt=\"SAPD: San Antonio man charged with making threat against President Trump\" post-type=\"post\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/>\t<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tSan Antonio Police Department\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) \u2014 \u00a0A San Antonio man accused of making a threat against President Trump is facing charges.<\/p>\n<p>In a Friday release, the San Antonio Police Department says Robert Herrera, 52, was arrested Thursday, just ahead of Trump\u2019s planned visit to Kerr County to survey\u00a0 catastrophic flood damage on the Fourth of July.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say Herrera commented on a San Antonio news outlet\u2019s July 10 Facebook post about the visit, and they say he replied, \u201dI won\u2019t miss,\u201d along with a photo of Secret Service agents surrounding Trump just after the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. According to a criminal complaint, a separate Facebook poster replied to \u201cRobert Herrer\u201d stating, \u201cyou won\u2019t get the chance, I promise,\u201d to which \u201cRobert Herrer\u201d responded to, \u201cI\u2019ll just come for you.\u201d Accompanying that statement, \u201cRobert Herrer\u201d included a photo of an assault rifle and loaded magazines.<\/p>\n<p>Herrera was arrested the same day and is facing a federal charge of making threats against the President and interstate threatening communications. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison for each charge.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSAPD remains committed to working alongside our federal partners to ensure that threats of violence are taken seriously and addressed quickly,\u201d said Chief William McManus for the San Antonio Police Department. \u201cI want to commend the individual who reported the threatened violence against POTUS.
