The Chicago Sky jumped up to 10th place in the 2025 WNBA standings after Wednesday’s 87-76 victory over the 6-15 Dallas Wings. The Sky have now won three of their last six games after a 3-10 start to the season.<\/p>\n

Second-year forward Angel Reese, who was named to her second WNBA All-Star team on Sunday, led the way with 15 points and 11 rebounds. This was her seventh straight game with a double-double and her 13th such game this year.<\/p>\n

Reese had an incredibly productive rookie season for Chicago, averaging 13.6 points and a league-best 13.1 rebounds per game. However, she got off to a slow start in 2025 under new head coach Tyler Marsh.<\/p>\n

Over the last seven games, however, she has averaged 17.4 points, 16.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. She is now averaging 13.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest on the season.<\/p>\n

Former NBA All-Star guard Jeff Teague is taking notice of Reese’s growing prowess over the last month or so. He recently spoke on the Club 520 Podcast<\/a> about Reese’s recent games and admitted that his original perception of her was wrong.<\/p>\n

“Did y’all get the move she had? She bringing the rock up, hit the girl with an in-and-out to the pull-up. I ain’t seen this Angel Reese. I’m starting to like her, I ain’t lying,” Teague said. “I ain’t gon lie, I was one of the people that was laughing when she was missing them layups.”<\/p>\n

Chicago plays again on Saturday against the 18-3 Minnesota Lynx, who boast the best record in the league and MVP frontrunner Napheesa Collier. The Sky lost to the Lynx 80-75 last Sunday.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s matchup will tip off at 1:00 p.m. ET at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.<\/p>\n
