{"id":585647,"date":"2026-02-12T22:40:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T22:40:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/585647\/"},"modified":"2026-02-12T22:40:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T22:40:09","slug":"the-most-loved-communities-in-greater-houston","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/585647\/","title":{"rendered":"The most-loved communities in greater Houston"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Greater Houston homebuyers are falling in love with communities that offer pockets of affordability, according to a ranking from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.har.com\/content\/department\/newsroom?pid=2219\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Houston Association of REALTORS\u00ae<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The association ranked the Houston-area neighborhoods with the greatest annual increase in transactions to determine which neighborhoods grew most in popularity among homebuyers in 2025 and found that seven of the top 10 had average home prices below the <a href=\"https:\/\/houstonagentmagazine.com\/2026\/01\/20\/har-monthly-market-update-dec-full-year-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">area median average of $416,722<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Transactions increased most in <a href=\"https:\/\/houstonagentmagazine.com\/2026\/01\/28\/har-hottest-communities-in-houston-q4-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Brookshire<\/a>, where sales were up 124.6% year over year and had an average sales price of $311,463; followed by Waller, up 113.5% year over year with an average of $317,113; and the Crosby area, up 68.8% year over year with an average of $273,880.<\/p>\n<p>One outlier on HAR\u2019s list was the New Waverly area, where transactions increased 43.3% year over year.
