Summertime pattern rolls on across Texas as each afternoon will be hot and humid. Some sea breeze storms will remain possible from Austin and San Antonio to the Rio Grande Valley each afternoon as well. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and conservative media personality Tucker Carlson during a Wednesday interview, as they debated the U.S. military\u2019s involvement in joining Israel in their attack against Iran.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are carrying out military strikes today,\u201d Cruz said. This led to Carlson questioning if the strikes were being carried out by the U.S. or Israel. Cruz then clarified that the U.S. support was limited to Israel\u2019s strikes, not direct action against Iran.<\/p>\n 2.\u00a0New Texas polling data reveals Republican voters\u2019 disapproval of THC ban<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n According to polling data from Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, a majority of Republican voters oppose Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signing Senate Bill 3, a ban on all products containing tetrahydrocannabinol, more commonly known as THC, into law.<\/p>\n The governor has until Sunday to sign or veto the bill. If no action is taken, the bill will go into effect on Sept. 1.<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0Gov. Greg Abbott signs $10 billion property tax relief package<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Gov. Greg Abbott officially signed\u00a0Senate Bill 4 on Monday, which will lead to lowered property taxes for Texans.<\/p>\n All homeowners will soon benefit from an increase of the homestead exemption. It removes part of the value of a homeowner\u2019s property from being taxed.\u00a0<\/p>\n 4.\u00a0Defense Department sends 700 troops to Texas, Florida to assist ICE<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n The Department of Defense is mobilizing hundreds of troops to aid in immigration enforcement efforts in Texas, Louisiana and Florida.<\/p>\n Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said Tuesday that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth last week authorized the mobilization of up to 700 military personnel to support U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in those three states.<\/p>\n 5.\u00a0Texas lawmakers urge Tesla to delay robotaxi rollout until safety law takes effect<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Tesla robotaxis are set to hit the streets of Austin on June 22, but a group of Texas lawmakers is asking the electric carmaker to delay the launch.<\/p>\n State Sen. Sarah Eckhardt, D-Austin, posted a letter on X addressed to Tesla Field Quality Director Eddie Gates requesting that the company push back its robotaxi rollout until a new state law on autonomous vehicles takes effect.<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0‘Take Meowt to the Ballgame’ event brings out some purrfect felines<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n The San Antonio Missions hosted a \u201cTake Meowt to the Ballgame\u201d event, which invited people to bring their cats along with them to enjoy America\u2019s favorite pastime.<\/p>\n There were plenty of adorable feline friends at Nelson W.
