Click here to watch<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Near the scene, authorities found a vehicle that matched the description of one stolen during <a class=\"zZygg UbGlr iFzkS qdXbA WCDhQ DbOXS tqUtK GpWVU iJYzE \" data-testid=\"prism-linkbase\" href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/post\/chicago-shooting-man-shot-killed-north-side-carjacking-police-say\/18585179\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a deadly Lakeview carjacking<\/a> earlier that morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Around 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, a 22-year-old man was sitting in his car with another man, 38, at West Waveland Avenue and North Halsted Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Police said that&#8217;s when two thieves walked up, carjacked the 22-year-old, shot him, and took off in his car.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">The 38-year-old man was not injured, police said.
