While most WNBA stars are either spending their offseason playing in the Unrivaled league, continuing recovery routines, or perfecting their craft overseas, Sophie Cunningham and Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark might want to start practicing their ring entrances.<\/p>\n
The WWE<\/a> Hall of Fame Bella Twins have officially issued a challenge to two key players who have played a role in the Indiana Fever’s successful turnaround over the past two WNBA<\/a> seasons. Let’s do it,” Nikki said<\/a>. “Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark versus The Bellas. Book it! WrestleMania!”<\/p>\n When told that Cunningham quietly measures 6-foot-1, Nikki dismissed it with the confident attitude that characterized her 301-day reign as Divas Champion. “That’s okay,” she said. “When you\u2019re the bad girls, we know how to win. No matter how tall, how strong, we know.”<\/p>\n Brie Bella and Nikki Bella are WWE Hall of Famers<\/p>\n The Bella Twins reunited in WWE in January, with Nikki returning at the 2025 Women\u2019s Royal Rumble at No. 30 before joining Raw, and Brie returning at No. 29 in Riyadh.<\/p>\n Two nights later, on Raw, they reunited and declared their intent to chase the WWE Women\u2019s Tag Team Championships one final time. They\u2019ve captured the Women\u2019s Tag Team Championships twice as a team and have both had runs as singles champions.<\/p>\n Cunningham is a lifelong WWE fan who grew up watching Kane, Hulk Hogan, and John Cena. She shared in December 2025 on her podcast that WWE had contacted her about a crossover. She mentioned she would consider wrestling after finishing her WNBA career, while at San Diego Comic-Con.<\/p>\n Sophie Cunningham and Caitlin Clark played a role in the Indiana Fever’s 2025 WNBA playoff appearance<\/p>\n Clark\u2019s connection is more cultural after she famously found herself on the receiving end of Angel Reese\u2019s “You Can\u2019t See Me\u201d John Cena taunt<\/a> after LSU defeated Iowa 102-85 in the 2023 national championship game in Dallas.<\/p>\n Clark later used that same gesture when appearing in a promotional segment during WrestleMania 41.
