\n\tStephanie Pratt is calling out brother Spencer Pratt<\/a>\u2018s campaign for Los Angeles<\/a> mayor, saying a vote for the reality television star is a \u201cvote for stupidity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a series of tweets shared over the weekend, the former star of MTV<\/a>\u2018s The Hills launched a tirade of posts against her brother containing her reasoning for why he should not be elected, along with some allegations against him, including a claim of assault. After Spencer and wife Heidi Montag<\/a> lost their home in the Palisades fire more than a year ago, the reality TV fixture has emerged as an influential and controversial public policy critic<\/a>. The parents of two filed a lawsuit against the city over damage from the\u00a0wildfires<\/a>, and Spencer Pratt announced<\/a> his bid to\u00a0join the 2026 L.A. mayoral race as a populist outsider in January. The election will be held June 2.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cSpencer has done great work for the palisades. But LA does not need another unqualified and inexperienced mayor. A vote for him is a vote for stupidity,\u201d began Stephanie Pratt on Saturday night on her Twitter<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s just trying to stay famous and sell his memoir don\u2019t be fooled. In an ideal world the palisades would have their own mayor and police department. I would love him to be mayor of Palisades but not LA with 4 million people. I\u2019d be impressed if a republican could turn LA democrats thb [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStephanie then referenced her brother\u2019s past, saying L.A.\u2019s mayor should be someone \u201cwho wasn\u2019t in a cult.\u201d After people on Twitter began responding to her tweets, she then alleged, \u201cSorry he beat me up when I was 18 & put me in the hospital. So no he doesn\u2019t belong in the government\u201d and claimed \u201che\u2019s the one who got me hooked on hard core drugs at 15. I\u2019ve kept this all a secret for years. He also had a hidden drug addiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe then continued, referencing a 2010 incident<\/a>, \u201cdid anyone know after the cult they went to Costa Rica and were arrested for illegal firearms? He called my dad from jail after not speaking to our family for 8 years bc of his cult, to bail him out \u2026 I have no interest in fame, I\u2019m taking a course to become a RBT my passion is helping children and adults with autism. I don\u2019t even use instagram. I\u2019m serious about my new career helping people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tSpencer, 42, sister Stephanie Pratt, 39, and Spencer\u2019s wife Heidi Pratt, 39, all starred on MTV\u2019s hit reality series The Hills, which aired from <\/strong>2006 to 2010, and was rebooted in 2019 with The Hills: New Beginnings. Spencer famously had a villainous persona on the reality series and in the public spotlight, and his feuding with sister Stephanie was chronicled both on- and off-screen. <\/p>\n

\n\tAmid his new campaign and with his memoir, The Guy You Loved to Hate<\/a>, he\u2019s taken to referring to his competitors with bullying nicknames and has revisited the fakery of MTV\u2019s unscripted\u00a0The Hills<\/a>, as well as wife Heidi\u2019s well-publicized plastic surgery.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYes fact \u2013 I will always be on team Lauren Conrad,\u201d Stephanie Pratt continued, referring to the famous feud between Spencer, Heidi Pratt and their former Hills co-star. \u201cThose two spent years trying to destroy her life for magazine covers,\u201d she claimed. \u201cI always side with the vulnerable who need help not the people inflicting pain on others.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe added, \u201cLeopards never change their spots. Stay in the palisades Spencer.\u201d<\/p>\n
