Min Woo Lee let his frustrations get the better of him on a wind-battered Saturday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lee will start Sunday\u2019s final round five shots behind leader Akshay Bhatia<\/a> but the Australian could\u2019ve been much closer if not for some tricky late weather conditions.<\/p>\n

After his eagle on the par-5 14th at Pebble Beach, the wind picked up at the famous Monterey Peninsula course.<\/p>\n

The blustery conditions saw Lee drop a shot on the 17th hole and then fire his drive on the 18th way right.<\/p>\n

He was forced to take a drop and then could only find a bunker with his approach.<\/p>\n

And as he made it to the green, the wind gusts ratcheted up again, meaning a clearly frustrated Lee backed off from hitting his par putt several times, refusing to finish his round despite players waiting behind.<\/p>\n

The crowds around the 18th green began to jeer the Aussie and he could be heard swearing as he eventually pushed his putt wide and had to settle for another bogey.<\/p>\n

Lee then lobbed his ball into the Pacific Ocean to round off a tumultuous hole which took over 30 minutes to complete.<\/p>\n

CBS commentator Jim Nantz couldn\u2019t help but aim a little dig at Lee over his pace of play issues.<\/p>\n

He said from the booth: \u201cWe\u2019ve got a wind gauge in the tower here and it\u2019s gusting close to 30 (MPH) now.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way this storm is coming in, if he wants to wait to hit this, he\u2019s going to have to wait until Thursday…\u201d<\/p>\n

Addressing his annoyance after the round, Lee said: “I understand I have to hit the putt but when the ball is fully oscillating, it\u2019s just hard to pull the trigger.\u00a0<\/p>\n
