More information on the captain selection process is <a href=\"https:\/\/auprosports.com\/basketball\/how-we-play\/#captains\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Guard <strong>Odyssey Sims<\/strong>, who finished with a league-best 1,966 leaderboard points in Week Two, will sit in the captain\u2019s chair for the first time this season and pilot Gold Rush during Week Three. The league\u2019s leading scorer with a 22.5 point per game average, Sims will be serving as a captain for the 14th time in her Athletes Unlimited career.<\/p>\n<p>Forward <strong>Natasha Mack<\/strong> will make her debut as a captain after placing second in the Week Two standings with 1,751 leaderboard points. The Athletes Unlimited newcomer stands as the league\u2019s leading rebounder through the first two weeks along with owning a league-best 20 blocked shots.<\/p>\n<p>Guard <strong>Rebekah Gardner<\/strong> remains in the captain\u2019s seat for Week Three, but will be leading Rhythm into the season\u2019s penultimate weekly segment. Gardner, who accumulated 1,506 leaderboard points during Week Two, became the sixth captain to post a perfect 3-0 record in their debut after guiding Glow.<\/p>\n<p>Guard <strong>Shey Peddy<\/strong> also makes her initial voyage into being a captain during Week Three as Eclipse\u2019s leader.
