The FBI has collected DNA from a glove found near Nancy Guthrie\u2019s house,<\/a> which may have come from the armed suspect seen at the 84-year-old\u2019s door the night she disappeared.<\/p>\n

The bombshell revelation means that investigators could finally have DNA evidence from the primary suspect in the Feb. 1 abduction of \u201cToday\u201d show host Savannah Guthrie\u2019s mom<\/a>, law enforcement sources told The Post.<\/p>\n

The glove appears to match the pair worn by the suspect in the video taken from Nancy Guthrie\u2019s front door camera. FBI<\/p>\n

The glove was located about\u00a0two miles from Nancy\u2019s Tucson home and is one of about 16 collected by detectives in that\u00a0vicinity\u00a0over their two-week investigation.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video,\u201d an FBI spokesperson\u00a0told Fox News<\/a>, which first broke the story.<\/p>\n

The glove \u2014 one of 16 found by detectives \u2014 does not appear to be the one that The Post observed FBI evidence specialists collecting<\/a> from a roadside about two miles from Nancy Guthrie\u2019s Tucson house.<\/p>\n

Investigators told Fox it appears to match the black nitrile gloves pulled over another pair of gloves, which were worn by the masked fiend who was captured by Guthrie\u2019s Nest door cam<\/a>. Sources cautioned that the glove isn\u2019t confirmed to be from the suspect \u2014 merely that it looks like it could be the one he was wearing.<\/p>\n

FBI evidence technicians are now working to double-check the DNA results<\/a> before running them through the national database of crime suspects to see if there are any matches.<\/p>\n

It usually takes around 24 hours from when the FBI receives DNA to put it into CODIS, the bureau\u2019s national DNA database, an FBI spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the latest on Savannah Guthrie\u2019s missing mom<\/p>\n

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos<\/a> said on Sunday that the DNA results are still pending at a private lab in Florida.<\/p>\n

Detectives prioritized certain DNA submissions, Nanos told Fox News, although he didn\u2019t elaborate on what those are or which results will come back first.
