JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) \u2014 A suspect was arrested after a Valentine’s Day shooting left one person dead in Jacksonville.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 800 block of West Chambers Avenue just after 5:40 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n

When they arrived, officers found a person, later identified by the Morgan County Coroner as 31-year-old Marcquila Harris of Jacksonville, who was shot.<\/p>\n

Harris was taken to the hospital, where they died.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Jacksonville Police said officers worked through the night to find a suspect in the shooting. On Sunday, police arrested 23-year-old Marissa Teubner of Jacksonville.<\/p>\n

Teubner was arrested on charges of first degree homicide and aggravated discharge of a firearm.<\/p>\n
