Penguin Random House\/Disney Publishing announced the release of \u201cHour of the Pumpkin Queen,\u201d the follow-up to the #1 New York Times bestseller \u201cLong Live the Pumpkin Queen,\u201d set in the world of Tim Burton\u2019s \u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas film.\u201d The new book launches July 8 everywhere.<\/p>\n
Released in 2022, \u201cLong Live the Pumpkin Queen,\u201d the first installment in the Pumpkin Queen series written by Shea Ernshaw, was a success, debuting at #1 on the NYT best seller list and remaining on the list for a total of 37 weeks. Disney tapped Brevard resident Megan Shepherd to continue the Pumpkin Queen series after previously working with her on 2023\u2019s \u201cThe Nightmare Before Christmas\u201d novelization to coincide with the film\u2019s 30th anniversary.<\/p>\n
