SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A man was arrested after he allegedly used Snapchat to meetup with an underage victim and sexually assaulted her. <\/p>\n
According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), on June 25, they responded to a report of an Aggravated Sexual Assault of Child involving 30-year-old Franklin Damien Sanchez. <\/p>\n
Investigators say Sanchez had been in contact with the underage victim through Snapchat and used the social media platform to arrange an in-person meeting. The victim left her home to meet up with Sanchez and was taken to multiple locations, eventually being assaulted by Sanchez. <\/p>\n
Following the assault, Sanchez continued to reach out to the victim via social media. The victim later confided to a friend about the assault, and the friend encouraged the victim to come forward and tell her parents. <\/p>\n
Sanchez was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and Online Solicitation of a Minor Under 14. He was booked into Bexar County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
