{"id":600117,"date":"2026-02-19T03:27:11","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T03:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/600117\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T03:27:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T03:27:11","slug":"adot-invites-you-to-name-four-snowplows-in-annual-contest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/600117\/","title":{"rendered":"ADOT invites you to name four snowplows in annual contest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\"><b>PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 The Arizona Department of Transportation is inviting the public to help name four of its hard-working snowplows as winter storms impact highways across the state, mostly in northern Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The public submitted more than 2,300 entries in ADOT\u2019s Name-A-Snowplow contest, and that\u2019s been narrowed down to 12 finalists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-start article-text\">Starting Wednesday, the public can go to <a href=\"https:\/\/azdot.gov\/name-a-snowplow\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/azdot.gov\/name-a-snowplow\">ADOT\u2019s website<\/a> to vote for their favorite names.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 12 finalists are:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list | article-list\">\n<li>Clearopathra<\/li>\n<li>Saltimus Prime<\/li>\n<li>Oh Snow You Don\u2019t<\/li>\n<li>Snowminator<\/li>\n<li>Thaw Patrol<\/li>\n<li>Sleet Dreams<\/li>\n<li>Snow Mater<\/li>\n<li>Snowverine<\/li>\n<li>Blizzard Wizard<\/li>\n<li>Scoopy-Doo<\/li>\n<li>Subzero Hero<\/li>\n<li>Snowmageddon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The four names that receive the most votes will be displayed on snowplow cabs stationed at maintenance yards in northern Arizona.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">They will join the dozen snowplows named in previous Name-A-Snowplow contests.
