Two members of a violent Bronx gang chillingly vowed to kill the young son and pregnant wife of a witness who helped convict a crew leader of murder, the feds said Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Tyshawn \u201cTy Boogie\u201d Palmer, 32, and Hassan \u201cTwin\u201d Brown, 34, were nabbed for posting the brazen threats on Instagram during the recent Manhattan federal court trial of Lamar \u201cBlack\u201d Williams, 35, a leader of the \u201cMac Ballers\u201d sect of the Bloods.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe gon killa season at that lil n\u2014ga school,\u201d the two gangbangers posted alongside a photo of the witness and his young child, a kindergarten student, prosecutors allege.<\/p>\n

Palmer, Brown and other Mac Ballers members also posted a photo of the key witnesses\u2019 pregnant wife at her baby shower, and several messages calling the witness a \u201crat\u201d and a \u201csnitch,\u201d court papers say.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey issued brazen threats of death for all to see,\u201d said Jay Clayton, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, at a news conference Wednesday afternoon. \u201cThis is a serious crime, one that undermines all that we hold dear in our justice system.\u201d<\/p>\n

The witness testified during the nine-day-trial despite the threats, and Williams was convicted Feb. 11 of all of the charges he\u2019d faced, including that he murdered 28-year-old Rasheed Barton in a targeted hit on East 174th Street and Bronx River Avenue on Aug.11, 2013.<\/p>\n

The purported Mac Ballers honcho was found guilty of murder in aid of racketeering, which carries a mandatory minimum sentence of life in prison, as well as murder through use of a firearm and racketeering conspiracy.<\/p>\n

Palmer and Brown were arrested Wednesday morning by members of the US Marshals Service \u2014 which is tasked with ensuring the safety of trial witnesses and jurors \u2014 in Hackensack, New Jersey and the Bronx, respectively. Both were held without bail after making their first appearance in Manhattan federal court Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Federal agents with the SDNY, as well as NYPD officers, also worked on the case.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe alleged actions taken by the defendants to intimidate witnesses and their family members with violence are a deliberate attack on the integrity of our judicial system,\u201d NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch said in a statement.<\/p>\n

Both alleged gangsters face up to life in prison if convicted of witness tampering and witness retaliation.<\/p>\n
