Kratos\u2019 voice actor Christopher Judge appears to have spilled the reveal plans for the next God of War<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a meet and greet exchange originally uploaded by Fuzhpuzy<\/a> and mirrored on Reddit<\/a>, the actor innocently reveals that fans will \u201chear about what we\u2019re doing, probably late summer\u201d. This actually aligns with recent rumours<\/a>, which suggested Santa Monica Studio\u2019s next major PS5 game will release in 2027.<\/p>\n

In the video, Judge explains to a supporter that TC Carson will be reprising his role as Kratos in the God of War Trilogy Remake<\/a>, so he won\u2019t be involved with that. He says the game will feature new technologies and a fresh fighting system.<\/p>\n

YouTuber Fuzhpuzy asked God of War voice actor Christopher Judge if he\u2019s in the upcoming GoW Remakes. He said:
\u2022Kratos will be voiced by TC Carson in the remakes, Christopher won\u2019t be in it.
\u2022Remakes will have new technology, fighting system, and content.

He then goes on to reveal the tidbit about Santa Monica Studio\u2019s next game, which will supposedly \u201cfeel like<\/a>\u201d a new IP. Many are expecting it to take place in a new mythology, potentially in Ancient Egypt.<\/p>\n

Rumourmongers had already hinted the game would be announced later this year<\/a>, ahead of a release in 2027. It\u2019s possible, then, we\u2019ll hear about it during a State of Play<\/strong><\/a> around the time of Summer Game Fest<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 although the \u201clate summer\u201d window Judge mentions suggests we may have to wait beyond that, unless he\u2019s mistaken.<\/p>\n

Either way, it does seem like smoke is beginning to form around this project now. Are you excited to see what Santa Monica Studio has been up to? We may not have to wait too much longer to find out.<\/p>\n
