DALLAS \u2014 We already know that Dallas loves to eat (and drink) out. But a few spots stood out for the amount of alcohol they sold during the first month of the year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In January 2026, Dallas restaurants, bars and hotels sold $23.37 million in liquor, beer and wine, according to data from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC).\u00a0<\/p>\n
While Dallas has its fair share of high-end restaurants selling expensive wine, and late-night bars making hundreds of thousands of dollars in mixed drinks, the Hilton Anatole was at the top of the heap, selling a total of $1.2 million in liquor, beer and wine sales, plus cover charges.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The TABC requires all venues with a license to sell alcohol to report the receipts from all their alcohol sales on a monthly basis. That allows to see exactly how much a food and drink-loving city like Dallas is spending on a night out.\u00a0<\/p>\n
